At Naauwpoort Friesian Stud, we are passionate about breeding quality, purebred Friesian horses registered with the Friesian Horse Breeders Society of South Africa.
Located on Naauwpoort Guest Farm just outside Hartswater in the Northern Cape, our goal is to breed elegant, athletic Friesians with strong character, excellent movement, and a willing temperament. Our breeding program is built on proven bloodlines, including the world-renowned approved stallion Dries 421 Sport AA, and focuses on producing horses suitable for showing and breeding.
As owner of Naauwpoort Friesian Stud, Corlien is also actively involved in the Show Horse community as one of the organizers of Vaalharts Pekanfees Horse Show held at the Magogong showgrounds.
We are proud to share our passion for the Friesian horse and to contribute to the future of this remarkable breed in South Africa.
Our three beautiful mares, Pam, Floriske and Calet, will form the foundation of the mother-line at Naauwpoort Friesian Stud.
All three mares are proudly bred from Dries 421 Sport AA of Pela Graca Friesian Stud, carrying the exceptional bloodlines that will help shape the future of our breeding program. We are incredibly excited to see what the future holds for these beautiful mares and the legacy they will create.
